Ai no
Yasha Music and Lyrics Page!
This
is something of an Ai no Yasha OST, but it’s only a shell. We hope you have fun all the same! There are lyrics, explanations, sheet music,
and MP3s posted. ^_^ All of these things are copyright Eri-chan,
so don’t steal them or she’ll cry. If
you want to play/sing them (maybe add some background music), we would be
delighted to hear your rendition! We’ll
even post it and credit you. You’re
welcome to post it on your own site too, of course, but we’d like you to ask
permission first. Finally, to give
credit where credit is due, the recording and sound mixing was done by the
wonderful Hirari-sempai, who shall be receiving a chibi shortly.

Theme song
"When
You Look"
I wasn't born in plain view,
I never waited to be found.
Not in any way attached to you.
Never wanting to be bound.
I suppose that you were happy
When "fate" found us in the end,
Forced us both to face it dually,
As an enemy and friend.
But did you think about the day,
So far and yet to come,
When you'd look to me to find your way
And discover you're just one?
You never needed to confirm the fact,
I was at your side, we had a pact,
Through fire, tears, and broken lives,
For all those tortures fate contrives.
And in all that time you didn't care
To think of a time, you wouldn't dare,
When you'd look to me... and I'm not there.
I could not believe in what we did,
But I did believe in you.
With all that time, I cast my bid,
And I hoped it would prove true.
But the end would come to test us both,
And finally come to prove
That one would need to tear away
So that one could always move.
And I don't regret that chance to act,
For all the wisdom I still lacked.
Who was to say we'd win or lose
When all we did in life was choose?
How does it feel when in despair
You reach for me to ease your care?
When you look to me... and I'm not there.
And I’m not there.
Eri-chan recorded this
completely a cappella (without accompaniment), and it wasn’t easy, so be forgiving when she’s out of
tune. There *is* piano and guitar music
that goes with it that’s positively lovely, but it only exists in Eri-chan’s
head (which is a confusing and scary place for people who’ve never been there
before). We hope you enjoy it anyway.

おはよう yo-yo です! 何時も忙しい。 朝ご飯は美味しい、 ポットケーキ大好き! おはよう yo-yo です! 皆起きなさい! 今日は新しいだ、ねえ? さ、行きましょう! ALL

Ohayou yo-yo desu! Itsumo isogashii. Asa gohan wa oishii, Potto keeki daisuki! Ohayou yo-yo desu! Minna okinasai! Kyou wa atarashii da, nee? Sa, ikimashou! All Right! |
Eri-chan
did this recording, but it rightly should have been sung by Sonia. She wasn’t present at the time Eri got her
hands on recording equipment, though, so you’ll have to deal with it! Imagine bouncy key-board and electric guitar
in the background, or better yet! Synthesized
harpsichord like in the Rayearth music!
I don’t know… just something that suits bounciness. Have fun ^_^.
Yasha's Theme
This is sort-of Ryuu’s
theme. Neither Hirari-sempai *or*
Eri-chan could play the piano well enough to record it when we were recording
stuff, and it’s not finished anyway, but we’re posting the manuscript here in
case anybody is curious enough (and skilled enough) to play it for
themselves. If you could send us a
sound-clip of it being played, the Ai no Yasha team would love you for
life. Have fun ^_^
Boku Demo Dekiru:
This is one of the famed
songs of the original Ai no Yasha idol group.
Sadly, it’s supposed to be a duet and Eri had to do it as a solo! In the original, the heavy metal jam session
at the end is Sonia, and Eri Says “So…so… so… so… soso…” throughout the
jam. At the end, Sonia says “Hai?” and
Eri-chan says “Sonia-chan!” in a cute and shocked-sounding voice. Oh, and “Boku demo dekiru” means “Even I
can do that!”
